Gaynell M. Carnright Spiller, 92, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Jason and Frances Carnright. She was married to Willard F. Spiller, Jr., DDS. Gaynell was the receptionist/office manager in his dental practice. She believed in life-long learning and attended Avila University and enjoyed remaining physically fit with family and friends. Gaynell volunteered for several years at St. Joseph Medical Center – most recently in the Senior Clinic. She amazed everyone with her determination and "spice of life." Gaynell was from a family of eleven children (originally from Newburgh, NY). Surviving Gaynell are her children; Williard F. Spiller, III, Jeffrey F. Spiller and Patricia A. Miller. Also surviving are 6 grandsons, their wives, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was very proud of her family and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, July 1 st from 9-10 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, 11822 Holmes Rd., KCMO 64131. Entombment following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to a charity of your choice . We are very grateful for the love, caring, and time Mom has given us in every way! We want to say, "Thanks" for everything she's done. We appreciate the big and small things she did, and give our love and "Thanks" to "Gama and Docs."
