Barbara-Ann Marguerite Kay Stillwaggon of the Town of Newburgh passed peacefully at home on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the age of 81. Barbara is survived by her husband, Carl; son, Stuart and his wife, Carlene; her granddaughters, Amy and Brittany; sister, Diane Brady; brother-in-law, Don Stillwaggon and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Barbara was born on September, 23, 1934 in Staten Island to Fred and Bertha Kay. She graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1952. She attended Spencerian Business College and graduated 1953. She married Carl in January 1955. Barbara began working with her husband in the family's printing business until 1969 when she began her career with the Newburgh Enlarged City School District in the Human Resource Office. Barbara retired in 1997 from the school district and enjoyed retirement fully; camping, cruising and traveling the U.S. and Europe with Carl and their friends. Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 27th at Gardnertown United Methodist Church, 1191 Union Ave., Town of Newburgh. A short service and reception will follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Barbara's life. The family would like to thank Mary Owens and Sharon James for their attentive care, as well Shirley and Dave Davis for their lifelong friendship, especially through this most difficult time.
