Edward Spotards, Jr. - Class of 1971

    Edward Spotards Jr. departed this life on July 22, 2016 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. Edward was the son of the late Edward Spotards Sr. and Myrtle McNair. He was born on March 25, 1953 in Newburgh, NY. He leaves to cherish fond memories one son, Christopher (Amanda) of California; eight grandchildren; also surviving are two brothers, Roger and Clayton Spotards, both of Newburgh, NY; four sisters, Betty McClain of Charlotte, NC, Mary Smith of Bainbridge, GA, Ada Spotards of Newburgh, NY, and Theresa Fanner of Raleigh, NC; one uncle, Charles Davis of Tallahassee, FL; and many nieces, nephews cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, Edward is also predeceased by one sister, Barbara McDonald; and nephews, Sheldon Spotards and Willie Smith Jr. and brother-in-law, Thurman McDonald. Mr. Spotards will have a Memorial Gathering at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 30th at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel, 259 Walsh Ave., New Windsor, NY 12553; Professional service entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home, 259 Walsh Ave., New Windsor, NY
