    Diane E. Piper-Rader, 60, of Town of Newburgh, entered peacefully into rest on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at home with family at her side. She was two days shy of her 61st birthday…The daughter of the late Charles and Charlotte (Douglass) Piper, she was born August 19, 19551 in Newburgh. She married Paul Rader on September 21, 2001 in St. Francis’ Church, Newburgh. Paul resides at home. Diane worked as Secretary at West Point Military Academy for over 35 years of which twelve were for the superintendent. She earned numerous medals and certificates for outstanding service. In addition to her husband, Paul, she is survived by her brother, Charles Piper Jr. and his wife, Lynda of Newburgh; sisters, Cathy Marchione, of Newburgh and Charlotte DiPaola and her husband, Paul of Niverville, NY; step-sons, Caleb Rader of Minneapolis, MN and Silas Rader of Buffalo, NY; two nephews, 6 nieces and 6 great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Charles and Charlette, she was predeceased by sisters, Mary Ann Petroski and Merlyn Brown. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 2-5 pm at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Monday, August 22 in St. Francis Church, Newburgh.
