Mead, moved to Virginia in 1974 to begin a new life there with their family. She and Ross began a little Christian church in the hills of Virginia where they reached out to the people in that area with the love of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed many happy years there before being disabled in 1993 with a stroke. She bravely continued to be a wife, mother, grandmother and good friend to others from her bed and wheelchair. In 2003 she entered a nursing facility in Keyser, West Virginia, following a move to that state by her and her husband. Both she and Dad were loved greatly by their family and neighbors. Dad passed away in February, 2013, with congestive heart failure and COPD. Mom passed away the following year, 2014, following a heart attack. They will always be remembered for their great love for their family and their kindness to those with whom they came into contact. Replies to this post No replies yet |
