Arthur Eames Fitch entered into eternal rest on September 13, 2016 at Danbury Hospital, surrounded by the family he loved, and who so loved him. Arthur was born on March 25, 1932 to the late Gerald Fitch and Esther Winters Fitch. Arthur was raised in Newburgh, a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and the RCA Technical Institute. Arthur served in the US Navy. He was a retired Large Systems Manager with IBM, a quality inspector with STATA Matrix, and was the owner of his consulting firm Arrow Associates. He was a member of the First Congregational Church, the Masons, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. Arthur is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolores, his son Paul and his wife Rita, his son Christopher and his wife Pamela, his daughter Bernadette and her husband John. He leaves his loving grandchildren Jennifer Komondorea and her fiancé David Hayes, Nicole Komondorea, Aaron Fitch and is wife Jamie, Amy Komondorea, Sean Fitch, Alexis Fitch, Michael Fitch, and Nicholas Fitch, and his great grandson Lucas Hayes. He will be forever remembered for his love of family, love of life, commitment to excellence, and unending generosity. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Winona Lake Engine Company, Newburgh, N.Y. Calling hours will on Friday September 16, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the Brooks Funeral Home , 481 Gidney Avenue, Newburgh, N. Y.
