Richard "Rich" “Spot” Bucci, of New Windsor, passed away early on Tuesday,
October 18, 2016, with his beloved companion, Sherry and his loving daughter
Tina at his side. Richard was 66 years old. He was born in Newburgh, on July 29,
1950, the son of Dominick R. Bucci and Lottie Jaroszewski Bucci. Richard was a
graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, who worked as an electrician. He retired from
Local Union IBEW 363. Richard was a loving, devoted, caring, companion, father,
and brother. He thought of others even when he was not well. Richie and Sherry
enjoyed working in their yard together and making it their little retreat. He
loved his vegetable garden and had some of the best tomatoes around. Richard
always encouraged, advised and supported his daughter Tina in all that she did.
He was proud of his son, Dominick and enjoyed his visits with along with his
wife, and hearing about all of the activities of his grandchildren. He loved
being with his granddaughter, Olivia whether fishing, metal detecting, or
listening to her play the piano. Richard was an avid Beatles fan and stopped
each day to listen to “Beatles Break” on the radio. We all enjoyed joining him.
In his younger days, Richie was in the rock band, Dutch Pop, playing in clubs in
the area. Richard is survived by his loving, devoted and caring companion Sherry
Deyo; his children Dominick R. (Sharon) Bucci, of Myerstown, PA., his daughter
