Steven Thomas Foose of Newburgh and Wallkill, passed away on Sunday, October 9,2016 at his residence at the age of 62. The son of Bernadette M. and the late Warren G. Foose of Newburgh, NY. He is survived by his loving wife Alice Mason Foose of thirty eight years, his children Jessica Foose Kratochwil and husband Steven, Justin Foose and his wife Lisa, his granddaughter Isabella Kratochwie. He is also survived by his two brothers, David B. Foose and Eric R. Foose as well as many nieces and nephews. Steve was predeceased by his brothers Glen M. and Mark S. Foose. Steven was a Local 825 Operating Engineer, second generation, following in the footsteps of his father. Steven started his career at Amthors as a welder fabricator, working his way as an operation engineer at Dutchess Quarry. He was a member of the Wings of Iron motorcycle club. His passion for motorcycles and cars, lead him to build mant motorcycles and muscle cars through out his life. He was a well respected man in his community and trade. He was the type of man who would do for others before himself. Steve was an outdoors man who loved camping with his family and friends. He was a man that would use any excuse to celebrate life, as we should celebrate his. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14,2016 at the Doulin Newburgh Funeral Home Inc. from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 15,2016 at 10:00am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family to help with medical expenses.
