MaryAnne McGrath Amaro passed unexpectedly on October 17th 2016. MaryAnne was a resident of Hyde Park, NY and graduated from Newburgh Free Academy. (See Camera Shy) She was just 50 years old. MaryAnne is survived by her three children Jason, Gina and Alex. She is predeceased by her parents whom she missed dearly; Thomas and Marion Mcgrath. She is also survived by her Sisters Lisa, Sherry, Sue, Linette, and Michelle; Brothers David, Donald, Thomas, Bob, and Michael, as well as many others who loved her dearly. Today, we are reminded that time is precious. We are reminded to say I love you even in times of sorrow, to forgive one another simply because you still can, and to appreciate each and every moment. MaryAnne was a superstar. In her times of struggle, she was still the brightest of lights and the most intelligent woman in the room. She loved simply but deeply. She made you feel like the most loved human being in the world. She was determined, inspirational, and fearless. She made you better. She made me better. In a private viewing, the Family said goodbye to MaryAnne Thursday October 20th. A celebration of life ceremony will be held on October 22nd at Hudson Valley Christian Church from 4-6 pm. Family and friends are invited to remember MaryAnne for the blessing that she was. They are also encouraged to wear Dallas Cowboys attire to honor her deep rooted love for the team. We will miss you every second of everyday, Mom. Arrangements are under the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 38 Main St, Highland, NY 12528.
