Gerald “Jerry” R. Bell - Class of 1966

   Gerald “Jerry” R. Bell, of the City of Newburgh, a Textile Worker for American Felt and Filter and a life-long resident of the area, died Sunday, November 6, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Newburgh. The son of the late George and Helen Chumas Bell, he was born on October 9, 1946 in Newburgh. Jerry was a loving Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather, Brother and friend to all who knew him. He will be very much sadly missed. Jerry is survived by his loving daughter, Annemarie Bell; sisters, Joan Post and Barbra Turner; grandchildren, Joe A. Joiner IV, Anthony Lawrence Bell, Sandra Lynn and Iliana Rodriguez; great-grandchild, Joe Alfred Joiner V. In addition to his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his son, Francis (Tony) Bell. Graveside Services will be celebrated at 10 am on Tuesday, November 15 at St. Francis Cemetery, New Windsor.
