    Maurice M. Sartin of Newburgh, NY departed this life on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital. He was 61. Maurice was born in Newburgh, NY on September 11, 1955 to the late Johnnie E. Sartin and Fannie B. McNeil. He was a graduate of the Newburgh School District and was a custodian at the Newburgh Salvation Army. Maurice leaves to cherish his memories; siblings: Charles Savage of Raleigh NC, Norma Byrd of Newburgh NY, Lillie Sartin of Newburgh NY; close friends: Beverly Smith, Donnie Eason and Xavier Garrett and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Maurice is predeceased by his brother, Wesley Savage. Mr. Sartin will lie in repose from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Salvation Army Chapel, 234 Vaness Street, Newburgh, NY. Service is at 11 a.m. at the chapel.
