      Thomas Neal DiDonato a lifelong resident of Newburgh, NY passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh. He was 72 years old. Tom was the son of the late Carl J. and Filomena Fasulo DiDonato, Sr. He was born in Newburgh, NY on October 7, 1944. He married Rose Gleeson. Tom was a United States Navy Veteran serving from 1963-1967. He was a Union Bricklayer for Local #5, Newburgh, NY, he was a member of the Good Fellowship Dart Ball League. He was an avid chef. Survivors include his wife Rose at home, his 2 sons Thomas DiDonato and his wife Heather of New Windsor, Carl DiDonato of Newburgh, his 2 grandsons Brian and Noah DiDonato, his 2 brothers Vincent DiDonato and his wife Rosemary of Newburgh and Carl J. DiDonato, Jr. and his wife Sherry of Marlboro, his sister in law Kathleen Kennedy and her husband Alan, his brothers in law George Messenger, Dominick D'Aquino and Jack Early and many nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his sisters in law Noreen Messenger, Margaret D'Aquino, Patricia Early & Theresa Gleeson. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8pm at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro. A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Thursday morning at 10am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 145 Benkard Avenue, Newburgh. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Middle Hope. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Carl J. DiDonato, Jr. of the DiDonato Funeral Service, Inc.
