Martha Clapper Dabroski -
Martha W. Dabroski died peacefully in her sleep at home on December 17, 2016 in
New Paltz NY at the age of 83. Martha was born on June 5, 1933 in Newburgh NY to
Clare & Sarah Clapper. She graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1952. She
married Edward "Skip" Dabroski in November 1952. They moved to Marlboro in 1963
where they raised their family. In 1991, they retired and moved to Naples,
Florida where they enjoyed retirement with much happiness for many years. In
2013 she moved back to NY. She is survived by two children, a son, Edward (Jan)
Dabroski II, of Westminster CO, a daughter, Debra (Steven) Ferrara of Marlboro
NY, grandchildren, Michael Ferrara, Steven Ferrara II, Rebecca (Simon) Dudar,
great-grandchildren, Kaelan & Salvatore Ferrara, Camden & Nina Dudar, sisters,
Jeanne (Paul) Banyacski, Linda Sherman and a brother, Roy (MaryAnn) Clapper. She
is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward and her sister, Dorothy
Forss. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on January 28, 2017 at 11:30
a.m. at Lattingtown Christian Fellowship, 426 Old Indian Road, Milton NY. Pastor
David Ballou will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and
celebrate Martha's life. Class of 1952 passed away.. June 5, 1933 - December
17, 2016 - Arrangements under the direction of David T. Ferguson Funeral Home,
Washingtonville, NY.
