William F. Genter, 89, of Independence, KY passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He was an avid coin and stamp collector. He retired from the former Highland Ice Cream Company in Newburgh, NY. William was preceded in death by his parents: John and Anna Genter and his son: Michael Genter. He is survived by his son: William (Deborah) Genter; daughters: Joan (Paul) Adams and Susan (Mick) Lantz; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment: Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, NY.
