Message: Dennis Greco, a former resident of Newburgh, entered into rest, on Thursday, December 7, 2016 at his home in Tamarac Florida. He was 74 years old. Born in Newburgh, on November 1, 1942, Dennis was the son of the Thomas Greco and Marion Carlstom Greco. Dennis attended St. Patrick's School and was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. A retired Account Representative for Dunkin Donuts, he was also the former owner of the French Pastry Shop in Newburgh for several years. He married his wife Monika, who predeceased him, at St Francis Church in 1964. Dennis was a dedicated family man who put his wife and sons above all else. He was a history buff who loved to read. He will be greatly missed. Dennis is survived by his loving sons, Christopher Greco of Schenectady, NY; Dominick Greco of Tamarac, Florida; his grandchildren, Christine, Lilly, Grace and Samantha; sister, Catherine Shoop; brothers Gary Greco and James Greco; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dennis was predeceased by his wife Monika, his brother Thomas and his grandson Dominick. To honor Dennis memory a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday, January 28 at Our Lady of the Lake Chapel, Newburgh to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
