Mary Jane Doulin Bernard, a former lifelong area resident entered into rest Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at her daughter's home in Mendham, NJ. She was 82. Born February 21, 1935 in Cornwall, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edwin C. and Helen Gibney Doulin. She was the widow of the late John F. Bernard who predeceased her in 2006. Mary Jane was a retired Dispatcher for Time Warner Cable, Newburgh. She was a member of Community Garden Club of Marlboro-On-Hudson since 1989 and served as President from 2002-2004. She was a former Speaker Coordinator for Mendham Seniors Group, Mendham, NJ. Survivors include her daughter, Susan Elizabeth Bernard of Mendham, NJ; her son, Timothy James Bernard of Peoria, AZ; her brother, Edwin C. Doulin Jr. of Fishkill, NY; her grandson, Jacob Bernard Gross of Mendham, NJ, and her nephew, Brian P. Doulin of Wayne, NJ. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m., Monday, March 6 at Cedar Hill Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 5468 Rt. 9W Newburgh; Rev. Mary Gregorius will officiate. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills, 200 Mt. Airy Rd. Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.
