Timothy K. Ball of Fishkill, NY entered into rest on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. He was 61 years old. The son of the late Katherine and Francis Ball, he was born October 25, 1955 in Newburgh, NY. Dad, Tim, T.Ball, TT, no matter how you referenced him, he left an impression in our lives. His integrity, honesty, compassion, and sense of humor were unparalleled. He was someone who truly enjoyed working, talking with people and connecting on a personal level. His sense of humor and deep laughter brings fond memories, and stories to reminiscence and remind us all of how appreciated he was for being himself. Tim was well versed in many topics, his views on sports, politics, religion, movies, were easily conversed, and respectful of others opinions. Tim was an avid sports fan, a tried and true: Yankees, Packers, Knicks supporter, through thick and thin. A firm, vocal, but fair armchair coach, who wouldn't miss a big game. Tim spent some time as a volunteer fireman and was proud that he returned to college and graduated from Mount Saint Mary's with a bachelor in Science. He retired from IBM in Fishkill, with over 30 years in the company and kept in touch with many of the friends he met along the way. Tim enjoyed bowling, listening to music, reading and perfecting his green thumb - always eager to grow perfect tomatoes. He also enjoyed cooking, watching movies with the love of his life, Kelly Ofslager of Newburgh, NY. and spending time with his family, whom he loved dearly. He is survived by his children: Daniel and Melinda Ball of Newburgh NY, sister: Patricia Betterton of New Paltz, NY, and Godfather to his niece: Meghan Betterton of New Paltz, NY. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8pm on Thursday, March 16 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550. Funeral services will commence on Friday, March 17 at 10am at St. Patrick's Church, 55 Grand St, Newburgh, NY 12550. Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery & Mausoleum, 5468 Rte 9w, Newburgh, NY 12550. To send a personal condolence, please visit www.Brooksfh.com or call 845-561-8300.
