Joeseph A. Hannigan, III "My Forever Love" was born in Newburgh. He served as a medic in Japan in Viet Nam War, retiring from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and Christian. Joe is survived by his wife, Vivian; sons: Joseph IV and wife, Laurel and Shayne and Christina; daughters: Maria and Bridgette; grandchildren: Joseph, Rachel, Kayla and Derek, Mirabella, Kirsten, Alyssa, Kaleb, Ailis and Brielle; nephews: Steven and Daniel Sparaco; niece, Maria Sparaco and sons. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Norma; brother, Patrick Bulson; sister, Sandra, Richard and son, Richard Sparaco; in-laws: Juan, Elba and Daniel Rios. We thank our family and friends for their prayers and gifts. Special thanks goes to Billy and Noreen Davis and his lifelong friends: Vivian Peroni and Charles Rodeno, Fred Handley, Candelerio Gonzales and cousins: Tom and Barbara Turner, Jerry Bell, Ellen, John, Lillian Antonelli, Jim and Meme, Betty and Aunt Jenny Hannigan, Aunt Grace Livingston, Uncle Jim Alexander and in-laws: John Rios, Linda Laxton, Miriam Browne, Edwin Torres and their families. A very special thanks goes to Jule Rathjen and family: Cassie, Stacie, Paige, Melanie, Kelly, Danielle, our neighbors the Nelsons. Thanks to all who loved my Joe. Rev. Carey will have a memorial service at 11 a.m. on November 28th at Valley Bible Baptist Church, 365 Carter Ave., Newburgh, NY 12550.
