Sally M. Jesse Haley, a lifelong resident of Newburgh, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017. She was 83. Born on July 9, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Walter A. and Anna Ryan Jesse. Sally attended Newburgh schools and was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. Together with her loving husband Joseph W. Haley, who predeceased her, Sally raised her family in Newburgh. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Blane Haley and his wife Lori of Middletown, Tim Haley and his wife Martha of Newburgh, and her daughter Jill-Marie DePrado of Newburgh; her sister Jo-Marie DuBois and her husband Don of Newburgh, her brother William Jesse and his wife Flossie of Ardonia, NY; six grandchildren; as well as a niece and two nephews. In addition to her parents, and husband, Sally was predeceased by her son, Joseph J. Haley. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in Sally's
memory can be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties.
