Cynthia M. Williams,
of Beacon, NY - Formerly of Newburgh, NY and daughter of the late Rufus and Annie L. Williams, was born on October 12, 1967 in Newburgh, New York. She departed this life and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 9, 2017. Cynthia was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and continued her education in Newburgh at Orange County Community College and later attended Dominican College in Orangeburg, NY where she obtained her degree in Bachelor of Arts and Science. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her siblings, Lucille (James) Lewis, Rufus L. Williams Jr., Gene K. (Chiniqua) Williams, Demetrius A. Williams and Leeola Williams. Ms. Williams will repose 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at Mt. Calvary FBH Church, 167 Grand Street, Newburgh, NY. Service at 11 a.m. at the church. Pastor Erma J. Williams will officiate. Final visitation 11 a.m. to 12 noon Monday, April 24, 2017 at Evergreen United Holy Church, 54 Evergreen Church Street, Salemburg, NC. Funeral service at 12 noon. Rev. Joseph Moore, Pastor, Min. David Beatty, Officiating. Interment at Bearskin Cemetery, Salemburg, NC. Professional service entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Homes, 43 Fairview Ave., Poughkeepsie, New York.
