Frederick Carroll a life long resident of New Windsor passed away April 19 2017.He was 89 years old He was born in Newburgh to Bert and Anna Carroll Sept 1 1927. He is predeceased by his wife Joan Carroll. He served in the US Army, Navy, and Air Force. He was a firefighter for the city of Newburgh Engine 13 DuBois St. He then worked for the US Postal Service for 33 years in which he retired from. In between he was, an active volunteer Med Tech for the New Windsor volunteer ambulance Corp for many years. He was an active member of the New Windsor American Legion. He leaves 3 children Salliann Carroll of PA. Bonnie Carroll Stoddard and husband Wayne of Florida. Fred Carroll and wife Lisa of Clayton NY. 5 grandchildren. Vanessa Perez and fiance Jay Audwin Davis of PA. Jonathan Perez and wife Marichu of Nevada. Tim Crawford of Newburgh. Sean Crawford and fiance Katie Wallace of Marlboro NY. Brian Carroll and his wife Ashley of Florida. He also leaves 7 great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held at St Francis Cemetery New Windsor NY. Friday April 28 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the New Windsor Volunteer Ambulance Corp.
