Katheryne Lynn Munday
of Cortlandt Manor, NY formally of Newburgh, NY, passed away on May 1, 2017 at the age of 92. Our beloved mother, gram and great grandma is survived by her daughters, Lynn K. Weismann and son in law, Thad Weismann and Michele Calaluca and her husband, Michael; grandson, Brendan Munday and his wife, Chrysa; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Calaluca Mazza and her husband, John and Lindsay Calaluca Gaetano and her husband, Peter; great-grandson, Luca Michael Gaetano; and many nieces and nephews. Katheryne was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, John Edward Munday, Jr. and her beloved son, John William Munday. She was also predeceased by her parents, William Lynn and Katheryne Heil Lynn; her brother, William Lynn; and her sisters, Marion DeWitt and Frances Schorno. She will be sadly missed by each of us, we are thankful she is at peace. Her deep faith and her family were what mattered most to her. We are grateful for all that she taught us and for her never ending love and support. There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 6th at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Route 52 and Lakeside Road, Newburgh, NY. Inurnment of cremains will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Middle hope, NY. Arrangements are entrusted to Quigley Bros.
