Steven Edmund Elliott, Newburgh, N.Y. former news director at WGNY, and resident of the area for 37 years, died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at Horton Memorial Hospital in Middletown. He was 37. He was born to Jesse Elliott and Carol Sisca Elliott on July 10, 1964 in Newburgh, N.Y. Survivors include, grandfather, Edmund Sisca; brothers Douglas and Rennie Elliott; nieces Morgan and Ashton Elliott, and several aunts, uncles and cousins, all of Newburgh, N.Y. A family statement reads, "Steven was a loving, compassionate son and grandson, and will be greatly missed by all." Visitation will be private to family only. The funeral will be held at DiDonato Funeral Home, Saturday, June 22, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. with The Rev. Kathy Corley of Christ Episcopal Church officiating.
