Da'Jon Calvin Staples, a resident of New Windsor, NY, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 26, 2017. He was 21 years old. Da'Jon was born November 28, 1995 in Newburgh, NY. He was the son of Willie Gayle and Shalanda Staples. He is survived by his handsome son, Da'Jon Anthony Glynn Staples; his longtime girlfriend, Carey Glynn; grandparents, Calvin Staples, Wanda Staples, and Delores Gayle; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many family and friends. Da'Jon is predeceased by his great-great grandparents, Sam and Molly Shipman, Vernon and Gladys Staples, Kathleen and Lewis Gayle; great grandparents, Carl Aldrich, and Willie Floyd Clegg; uncles, Victor, Lawrence, Spergon, Myron Staples, and Anthony Lewis; aunts, Tanya and Virginia Staples; cousins, Gilbert and Lamont McDonald, Thomas Cotten, and Niyara Walker. Mr. Staples will lay in repose from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, June 10th at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 76 First St. Service is at 10 a.m. at the Church. Interment is at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
