Sean D. Pittman - Class of 1986

    Sean DeCarlo Pittman, Sr. “aka” Apple, was called to his heavenly home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2017. Born on March 8, 1968 in Newburgh, NY, Sean was the son of Foster and Alberta Pittman of Newburgh, NY. Sean was educated in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. He graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1986. Upon his illness Sean worked at Service Merchandise for 14 years. Sean was baptized and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. As a youth Sean was a faithful member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church Junior Usher Board and attended Sunday School. He loved cars, going to car shows, drag racing and driving his parents to North Carolina. He also had a passion for music and a serious car system. He had a flare of fashion and love spending quality time with family. Sean leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Alberta and Foster Pittman; longtime companion, Juanita Camacho; son, Sean DeCarlo Pittman Jr., daughter, Ashanti (Henry) and granddaughter, Sarai all of Newburgh, NY; two godbrothers, Pastor Charl McRae ll of Phoenix, AZ and Jarrott Brown of Richmond, VA; great-great, Aunt Quessie Page; and a host of family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Intensive Care Unit of St. Luke’s Hospital, Joyce and Charl McRae and Joy Pittman. Mr. Pittman will repose 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2017 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 76 First Street, Newburgh, NY. Funeral service at 11 a.m. at the church. Rev. Dr. Bruce Davis Sr. officiating, Pastor Charl E. McRae II M/DIV Eulogist. Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Middle Hope, NY. Professional service entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home, 259 Walsh Avenue, New Windsor, NY 12553
