Janice M.
Janufka Dunn, 75, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. Born in Newburgh, NY, she was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Vassar Brothers Nursing School in Poughkeepsie, NY and later her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Bloomfield College. Janice was a wonderful, caring person in both her professional and family life and was happy to have experienced the special blessing of being a grandmother. She loved to travel and visited several European countries of which her favorite was Switzerland. Predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Marian (Lucas) Janufka; her brother, Gary; her sister, Marianne and her daughter, Dawn Marie. Janice is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Richard of Allentown, NJ; her sons, Erik of Robbinsville, NJ and Gavin of Brick, NJ; her grandchildren, Joseph of Edison, Emma and Emily of Robbinsville, NJ and Estella and Gavin of Brick, NJ; her sister, Jean of Orem, UT and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown, NJ.
