Lester Maurice Vandemark
"Les" was born on November 10, 1946 and passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017.
Lester was a resident of North Carolina at the time of passing. Lester "Les"
Maurice Vandemark, 70, of Stony Point, passed away Suday, April 2, 2017, at his
residence. He was born in Orange County, N.Y., November 10, 1946, to the Late
Lester M. Vandemark and Wanda Mildred Johnston Vandemark. Les was of the
Catholic faith and was retired but self-employed refurbishing and selling small
equipment and recreational vehicles. Les is survived by a sister, Arleen
Gillespie and husband, Randall of Sterling, Va.; and his lifelong friend, Lori
McGourty and husband, Pete of Statesville. A private service of remembrance will
be conducted at 1 p.m., Sunday, APril 9. Condolences may be emailed to the
