Shawn G. De Munnik of Lodi, N.J., former Pastor of St. James R.C. Church, New York City, and Assistant Pastor of St. Mary's R.C. Church, NYC, died suddenly Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000. He was 35. He was the beloved son of Gary and Maureen (nee Durkin); loving brother of Jeffrey; dear brother-in-law of Jennifer; cherished uncle of Maximillian; and the adored nephew of David F. De Munnik, Gregory B. De Munnik and James W. Durkin. Reposing will be from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 440 Grand St., NYC. A Mass of the Holy Eucharist will follow at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 2, at the church.
