R. Stevens Peacock 38, was granted her angel wings on July 25, 2017 in Sarasota,
FL. - Formerly of Newburgh, NY She was born September 26, 1978 in Newburgh, NY.
The daughter of George Stevens Jr of Newburgh, NY, and the late Dorothy "Jean"
Stevens. Melissa is survived by her Husband Kendrick "Wee Wee" Peacock and their
two beautiful daughters Jaz and Ri Peacock. Melissa, is also survived by a host
of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins; her brother Mark; her niece; and her Godmother/Aunt
Jerry of Middletown, NY; her lifetime best friend, and sister Ulonda Hill;
sister in law and friend Marcella Jacobs and best friend Cantrell Cook. Melissa
life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that
the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of in which one lives. She
loved laughing, smiling, traveling, her tattoos, jewelry, playing the flute, was
an amazing LPN and most important loved being a loving mother and wife. Melissa
you will truly be missed "SEXY". Reposing 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday August 15th
at the Church Of God By Faith 29 Bridge Street, Newburgh. Services at 11 a.m. at
the church. Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery Middle Hope, NY. Professional
services entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Homes 259 Walsh Avenue New Windsor.
