Warren Hey of Aiken, SC, formally of Cornwall, NY, passed away on July 19, 2017
at home. He was 81. He was the retired owner of Hey’s Gifts and Appliances of
Cornwall. The son of the late Warren and Edna Reiss Hey, he was born November 1,
1935, in Newburgh, NY.David was the past president and member of The Cornwall
Lions Club, The Cornwall Businessman Association (now the Greater Cornwall
Chamber of Commerce), The Cornwall Fourth of July Committee, and The Associated
Volume Buyer’s Group. He was a longtime advocate of the Main Street business
district in Cornwall. Survivors include his beloved wife, Patricia; his
daughter, Sheri Mossuto (Ed) of San Marcos, CA, his two sons, Jeffrey Hey of
Malone, NY, and Stephen Hey (Lauren) of Cornwall, NY; seven grandchildren:
Jason, Jaclyn, Jessica, Stephen Jr., John David, Katelyn, and Joshua; five
great-grandchildren: Carter, Daniel, Avery, Addison, and Ashlyn. He was
predeceased by his grandson, Jeffrey G. Hey. Services were held privately.
