Loretta "Lee" Youlio - Class of 1954

    Loretta "Lee" Youlio, 80, of Naples, FL passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Avow Hospice in Naples. Formerly of Newburgh, NY she had been a resident of Naples for over 25 years. Lee was born September 15, 1936 in Newburgh, NY a daughter of the late Lawrence C. and Alice (Quinn) Youlio. In 1954, she started working as the medical assistant for Dr. Irving Weiner. Her career at the doctor's office would span over 30 years. Also in Newburgh, Lee was an avid golfer and member of Osiris Country Club. For over the past 20 years "Miss Lee" was a Nursery Room Assistant, Hospitality and Greeter, and fixture of Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church. As a lifelong devout catholic, she was the embodiment of everything good about Saint John and the Catholic Faith. Anyone she touched in her life is better off because of her. Survivors include her siblings, Eleanor Grimaldi of North Port, FL, Elizabeth Maher of Montgomery, NY, Patricia Mullarkey of New Windsor, NY, John (Lorraine) Youlio of Springhill, FL and Robert (Cheryl) Youlio of Montgomery, NY. She was also the loving Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Doris Wiener, Lawrence Youlio and William Youlio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave. N., Naples, FL 34108. Burial will follow in the church memorial garden. Online condolences may be offered by visiting www.ShikanyFuneralHome.com .
