Kim Ruscitti Caramatti of the Town of Montgomery and a lifelong area resident, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2017 at home with her family by her side. Born Kim Cheri Ruscitti in Cornwall to the former Patricia LeClair and the late Aaron Ruscitti, she was 54. Kim was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, Orange County Community College and the Berkeley School of Business. She worked for many years in medical administration for the business office of St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital and Crystal Run Healthcare. Kim enjoyed good books, fine restaurants, sunny vacations, shopping for clothes and cosmetics, a good glass of wine and lots of nice shoes. She thoroughly enjoyed the company of friends and family and of her loyal cats Shadow and Buddy. The last several years Kim also volunteered with a Relay for Life team to raise money for the fight against cancer. Survivors include her husband Mark Caramatti at home; her mother Patricia Chiocchi and stepfather Charles Chiocchi of The Villages FL; her sister Kelly Cary and brother in law Jess Cary of Allendale NJ and their children Rachel Cary, Emma Cary and Brad Cary, also of Allendale NJ. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins as well as numerous friends. Kim wanted to thank the Oncology nurses of Crystal Run Healthcare in Middletown, the staff of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Westchester and Hospice of Orange and Sullivan. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kim's favorite charity: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Visitation will be from 2-6 pm on Saturday, September 9 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave. Newburgh
