Louis Everett - Class of 1969

  Louis Everett, a 56 year resident of Newburgh and wrangler at the Pinegrove Dude entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital, Newburgh. The son of the late Louis and Myrtis (Pickett) Everett, Louis was born June 1, 1950 in Delco, North Carolina. He graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1969 and on September 18, 1977 he married his beloved Rhonda (Harvin) Everett in Orangeburg, NY. Rhonda survives at home. Louis attended Solid Rock Church, was part of the Oragne County Horse Council and was part of the Newburgh Auxiliary Police. We will miss your beautiful smile and your sense of humor. Louis loved to ride horses, fish, and in his earlier years, he played basketball & softball. In addition to his beloved Rhonda, Louis is survived by his two sons, Jason & Quiana Everett of Marietta, GA and Ethan & Thomasa Everett of Newburgh, NY; grandchildren, Jayda, Joshua, Zoe, Eva; two sisters, Jannice & Curtis May of Banning, CA; and Angela & Taylor Hooks of Marietta, GA; nieces and nephews, Angela Williams, Bradley May, Ruth Harvin, David Harvin, Jr., Jordan Harvin, Jared Harvin. In addition to his parents, Louis was predeceased by his Aunt, Doreen Pickett. Memorial Visitation will be held from 6-7 pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Solid Rock Church, 20 Holloran Road, New Windsor, NY 12553. A Memorial Service will celebrate Louis' life from 7-8:30 PM. The Rev. Thomas F. Stimpson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Louis' memory will be collected at the church or mailed to Solid Rock Church, 20 Holloran Road, New Windsor, NY 12553. in lieu of flowers/Memorial donations to be collected at Solid Rock Church
