Cindy Bushart Ochs of the Town of Newburgh, the retired owner of the Art Nook in Newburgh entered into rest, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Kaplan Family Hospice. She was 71 years old. The daughter of the late Dr. William and Florence (Barr) Bushart , Cindy was born September 21, 1946 in Newburgh. Cindy attended Grace United Methodist Church and previously St. George's Episcopal Church, former member of the Powelton Club and was heavily involved in the local art community. Survivors include her brother, Stephen Bushart of the Town of Newburgh, several cousins, as well as many good friends including Ahmet family and Jennifer Francisco. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Richard Ochs, a brother, William F. Bushart II and sister in law, Elisa Bushart. There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
Private burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in New Windsor, NY.
