William Thomas "Bill" Pulz - Class of 1978

William Thomas Pulz
- 57, of Cary, NC formerly of Coldenham, NY, died Monday, November 27, 2017 at
his home in Cary. William was born January 22, 1960 in Newburgh, NY. He was
employed as an engineering technician with CREE in Durham, NC. William met his
wife at IBM East Fishkill, NY where he worked for many years prior to relocating
to the warmer climate of North Carolina. William enjoyed sports of all kinds
especially Dallas Cowboys Football, a love that began with his with his favorite
Uncle Bob, Dale Earnhardt NASCAR and his Mom's beloved New York Yankees. He
enjoyed gardening, tracking his stocks and woodworking. Bill's happiest days
were in the sun near the beach, the most cherished of those were spent exploring
the peaceful islands of the Florida Keys with his wife and son as often as
possible. He was preceded in death by his father, William Pulz. William is
survived by his wife, Nancy Pulz; mother, Gloria Waldman Pulz; sons, Tyler Pulz
and Kyle Pulz; sister, Jeanmarie Tigar and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6pm Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Brown-Wynne
Funeral Home Chapel, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive
friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass
will be held at 10:30am Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church,
Robinson Ave., Newburgh, NY. Interment of cremains will follow in Woodlawn
Cemetery New Windsor, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the
Baptist Health Foundation in support of rebuilding the Fisherman's Hospital in
Marathon FL which was destroyed by recent hurricane. Checks may be mailed to:
