Charles Koran of Milton, NY passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Hospital, Poughkeepsie. He was 83 years old. Charles was born in Newburgh, NY on June 14, 1934. He was the son of the late Charles Koran and Irma Belknap. Charles was a retired New York State Police Officer, he was a United States Army Veteran. Charles was a member of the American Legion Viebey Sutton Post #124, member of the Father Hanley Council #8266, the Poughkeepsie Elks and the New York State P.B.A. Survivors include his wife Shirley M. Patterson Koran at home, his 3 sons; Kevin Koran of Saugerties, David Koran of Milton and Charles Koran and his wife Maureen of Georgia, his daughter Drenna Hannon and her husband John of No.Carolina and his 2 grandchildren Abbe Rose Hannon and Finnvala Koran Calling hours will take place on Wednesday from 3pm-6pm at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro. Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 10:30am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Newburgh. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Carl J.
