Ralph J. Rizzo, Jr., 87, of Wallkill, NY passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his home. He was born in Newburgh July 30, 1930, the son of Ralph Vito Rizzo, Sr. and Othilda O'Callaghan Rizzo. He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Reghina Rizzo on May 13, 1994. Mr, Rizzo was the owner of Rizzo's Transmissions in Newburgh. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in New Paltz. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Newburgh, and the NRA. Mr. Rizzo served in the National Guard. Surviving are his children: Nancy (Lorin) Pickering of Stanfordville, NY, William Rizzo of Pine Bush, Michael Rizzo, and Carey (Charles) Bloodgood of Texas; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Delehanty Funeral Home, 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
