He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed countless "adventures" with his children and grandchildren who he loved selflessly. Bob loved to travel and cruise the seas and recently visited the Panama Canal, Italy, and Hawaii. He looked forward every year to trips to South Carolina and Florida. Bob served his country, community and family without reservation or complaint. His wife, Carol, of 51 years was his high school sweetheart and love of his life. He will be missed greatly. The family would like to thank Dr. Diamond and his wonderful office staff who lived this journey with Bob and Carol and to acknowledge the dedicated nursing staff of 2 & 4 North of St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital who treated the Strickland’s like family.
