Dorothy L. Oberle Tyler, of Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. She was 90. Daughter of the late Francis and Grace (Seaman) Oberle, she was born on June 22, 1927 in Newburgh, NY. Dorothy was a lifelong parishioner of St. Patrick's Church, a member of the Golden Age Seniors Club and was a former member of Red Hats. She loved spending time with family, especially her grand and great grandchildren and cherished her annual vacations to Cape Cod. Dorothy always enjoyed working in her garden, bowling, golf and scrabble. Survivors include two sons, Richard F. Tyler and his wife Loraine of Oneonta, NY and Thomas Tyler and his wife Teresa of Wallkill; one daughter, Elizabeth Patsey and her husband Brian of Wallkill; one sister, Eleanor Youngberg of Newburgh; three grandchildren, Jessica Tyler, Jennifer Lynch and her husband James, Christian T. Widmark and his wife Lauren; three great grandchildren Rylee Lynch, Liam Lynch and Mia Grace Widmark and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Thomas P. Tyler in 1986. Visitation will take place on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the White, Venuto & Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road (Rt.32) Newburgh, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, 55 Grand Street, Newburgh on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor.
