Rose Rhoda Etri passed away February 15, 2018. Roe graduated in 1949.
Rose was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette Grispi Rhoda. She was
born on December 16, 1931 in Newburgh, NY and has been a lifelong resident of
the area. Rose graduated from Newburgh Free Academy. She worked as the Vice
President for ETC for many years before working as a cafeteria aide for Newburgh
Enlarged City School District. She was also a parishioner at Sacred Heart
Church, helping out whenever she could. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and
friend. She would always put others ahead of herself. She will be greatly missed
by all. Rose will be dearly missed by children, Patrick Etri from Fishkill, Mark
and Wife Susan Etri from New Windsor, and Dr. Dean and wife Antoinette Etri from
Staten Island; grandchildren Mark, Kayla, Dean, Gina, Anthony, Tricia, Jonathan,
Nicholas great-grandchildren Jayden and Ginavio. Rose will be reunited with her
late husband Patrick Etri Sr. In-laws Rocco and Mildred Campilii and siblings
Harry, Lena and Anthony Rhoda. Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated at
Sacred Heart Church on Monday February 19th at 11:00am. Burial will be held at
Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Rose's
name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place
Memphis, TN 38105.
