Theodore Kaplan
Services are on Wednesday for president of Kaplan Associates Theodore "Ted"
Kaplan, 82, of Manhattan, N.Y., and Goshen, Conn., passed away on Saturday,
March 10, 2018, after a long illness. He was born on July 23, 1935, in Newburgh,
N.Y., to the late Edward and Bella Kaplan. Services will be held at Riverside
Memorial Chapel, 180 W. 76th Street, New York, N.Y., on Wednesday, March 14, at
11:30 a.m., followed by burial at Sharon Gardens in Valhalla, N.Y. Ted was a
graduate of Syracuse University, served his country as a member of the U.S.
Army, and had an extensive career in the health insurance industry. Ted was
president of Theodore N. Kaplan Associates, LLC and was recently honored with a
lifetime achievement award from Who's Who in America. He will be greatly missed
by his wife, Madeline (nee Kahn); his children, Gary Kaplan (Jodi) and Judy
Pizzano (Tom), and his brothers, Harold and Stewart and their families. He will
also be remembered with great affection by his grandchildren, Matthew, Brett and
Melanie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The National
Kidney Foundation.
