Marvin E. Pritchard, Jr., a lifetime Newburgh resident, entered into eternal
rest on March 26, 2018. He was 62. Son of the late Marvin E. and Jean E. (Forrence)
Pritchard, Sr., he was born on October 9, 1955 in Newburgh. Marvin, was a
graduate of the RCA Institute of Technology and was a lighting technician in the
entertainment industry for many years. He is survived by his sister, Sharon L.
Idema and her husband, Gary of Fishkill, and two brothers: Bertus E. Pritchard
of Fishkill and Christopher J. Pritchard and his wife, Marlayna of New Windsor.
Marvin is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and
nephews. A private entombment will take place at Cedar Hill Mausoleum at the
convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations are asked to the
American Diabetes Association, 149 Madison Avenue, Room 701, New York, NY 10016,
