Frank M. Sylvester Sr., of the Town of Newburgh, a retired electrician for the IBEW Local 363 entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, March 28, 2018. He was 81 years old. The son of the late James and Anna (Chessman) Sylvester, Frank was born January 8, 1937 in Newburgh. Frank was a 60 plus member of the IBEW, proudly served our country in the United States Navy during the years 1955- 1957, and was a member of Our the Lady of the Lake Chapel. Survivors include his beloved wife, Betty (Sarvis) Sylvester at home, daughters: Cheryl Napolitano of Albany, Karen Geer and her husband, James of Leesburg, Florida and son, Frank M. Sylvester Jr. of Marlboro; eight grandchildren; Lauren, Jessica, Jason, Allie, Anthony, Nicole, Michael and Willie, five great-grandchildren with one on the way, as well as several cousins. Visitation for family and friends will take place on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at White, Venuto & Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 North Plank Rd., (Route 32) Town of Newburgh. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10 am, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Our Lady of the Lake Chapel, Route 52 (Orange Lake) Town of Newburgh. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
