Franklyn Mekeel of the Class of 1958 passed away in 2014. Just before graduating at NFA, Frank
transferred to NYMA where he graduated. Frank took over the family run Mekeel's Music Shop on Braodway in Newburgh.
The Music shop is now run by Frank's son Jay. Franks sister is Nancy Mekeel Gasek
