Anna Mae Genter, 91, of Newburgh, NY passed away on May 1st in Newburgh, NY. Memorial service will be held at Moulton Memorial Baptist Church, 54 Old Little Britain Rd., Newburgh on May 6th at 3pm with Rev. Dr. Fontella Irons of MMBC officiating. There will be a light meal in the church hall immediately following. Anna was born in Newburgh to John and Jane Pollock on November 21, 1926. She went to high school at Newburgh Free Academy and graduated in 1944. She married her husband, John, April 9, 1950, and was a homemaker and mother to her four sons. She was a Sunday School Teacher and Sunday School Superintendent, church trustee as well as a member of the Beta Eta's at Moulton Memorial Baptist Church for many years. Anna is survived by her four sons, Kevin and his wife JoAnn, Keith and his wife Mariylyn, Kerry and his wife Elaine and Kraig; her sister Ruth Newsom, brother Robert Pollock, sister-in-law Helen Pollock; grandchildren Charity Genter, Kerry Genter, Brianne Genter, Kylie Genter, Kevin Ethan Genter, Helena Rose Sandoval, Ashlynn Evans, as well as many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and great grand children. She is preceded in death by her husband, John, her sister Jane Dreyer and brother John Pollock. Memorial donations may be made to Moulton Memorial Baptist Church, 54 Old Little Britain Rd., Newburgh, NY 12550. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the members of Moulton Memorial Baptist Church for their support, friendship and love.
