Denise P. Spearman entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 21, 2018 at home with her family. She was 57. Denise was born on March 15, 1961 to Esther Francis and the late Kenneth Burner. She spent her early years in the U.S. Virgin Islands until she moved to New York at the age of 15 with her mother, step-father, and siblings. Denise graduated from NFA and continued her education at Marist College. She married Alexander Spearman in 1987; together they have two children, Alexandra and Kyle. Throughout her life, Denise worked in warehouse settings where she was able to socialize and entertain her co-workers. She was an amazing wife and mother who loved to laugh and have a good time. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to church. She leaves behind her husband, Alexander; children, Alexandra and Kyle Spearman and a step-daughter, India Boone; mother and step-father; siblings, Euriese and Ryan Francis as well as Dawn Burner; two nephews, Tyler Williams and Kaleb Francis; and a niece, Gabriella Francis, along with numerous in-laws whom she adored. Denise is predeceased by her father and brothers, Kelvin and Keith. Mrs. Spearman will repose 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Mt. Carmel Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, 1524 Route 300, Newburgh, NY 12550. Services 11 a.m. at the church. Rev. Darryl Cartwright will officiate. Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Middlehope, NY. Professional services entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Homes, 259 Walsh Ave., New Windsor, NY 12553.
