Elena
M. Trapini Gamma of Maybrook, a retired accountant for T.D. Bank in Newburgh,
entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 2, 2018. She was 73. She was the
daughter of the late George and Ellen (Altopiedi) Trapini. Elena was born May 8,
1945 in Newburgh. Elena was a member of the Assumption Church in Maybrook.
Survivors include her sons: Peter G. Gamma (Michael Lorenzo) of Norwalk,
Connecticut and Dr. Brett A. Gamma (Mary Kay) of Darnestown, Maryland; brother,
Anthony G. Trapini (Fran) of River Edge, New Jersey and daughters Julie and
Alicia; sister, Jennie Steinheimer (Tom) of Maryville, Tennessee and children
Lisa, Donald and Jeff; grandchildren, Andrea Lorenzo, Madison Gamma, Connor
Gamma and Clare Gamma. She also leaves behind many loving great nieces and
nephews, cousins and friends. There will be no public visitation. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be offered 11:30 am, Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the
Assumption Church, 211 Homestead Avenue, Maybrook, New York. Burial to follow
the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor. In lieu of flowers please make
memorial donations to Safe Homes of Orange County, 280 Broadway, Newburgh, New
York 12550 -
