Farmer Snyder of the Town of Newburgh entered into rest Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at
Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh. She was 92. The daughter of the
late Daniel and Irene (Gibson) Farmer, Jane was born September 12, 1925 in
Newburgh. She attended the Albany State Teacher’s College and was Valedictorian
of her class. Jane is survived by a son, Carl Snyder and his wife, Lois of
Poughkeepsie, daughter, Susan Treutle and husband, George of Montgomery,
brother, Daniel E. Farmer of N. Andover, Massachusetts; grandchildren: Mike
Quinn and wife, Keri, Brian Quinn and wife, Bridget; nephews: Ken Farmer and
wife, Katie and Doug Farmer; great-grandchildren: Connor, Brandon, Cassidy and
Declan Quinn. In addition to her parents, Jane was predeceased by her husband,
Andrew J. Snyder in 1990. Visitation will take place for family and friends
Friday, June 8, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at White, Venuto & Morrill Funeral and
Cremation Service, 188 North Plank Rd. ( Route 32) Town of Newburgh. Funeral
service will commence 10:00 am, Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Funeral Home. The
Reverend Dustin Trowbridge will officiate. Burial to follow the service at
Woodlawn Cemetery in New Windsor. In lieu of flowers place make memorial
donations in Jane’s memory to the American Diabetes Association -
