Helen K. Mihalco, of New Windsor, a conference services coordinator for Arden House in Harriman, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. She was 62. The daughter of the late Emil and Helen (Komlos) Mihalco, she was born in Wiesbaden, Germany on February 22, 1956. Helen was a warm-hearted, kind, giving and loving person. She enjoyed making homemade jams and jellies and crafts for everyone. She was the biggest Star Wars & Star Trek fan and enjoyed their many conventions. Helen also enjoyed spending time cheering up nursing home residents. She will be so sadly missed by all, especially her many great nieces & nephews and also her beloved cat, Mr. Bo. In addition to her parents, Helen is survived by her sister, Barbara Mulleavy and her husband, Robert; her brother, Emil Mihalco and his wife, Bernice; sister-in-law, Nickki Mihalco; special nieces and nephews, Marisa, Melinda, Manda, Brian, Justin, Kurt, Greg & Eric, Wayne & William and many others whom she loved very much! Helen was predeceased by her brother, John Mihalco. Private services will be held at a later date. Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
