Michael E Congelosi - Class of 1982

Michael Edward Congelosi of New York City, NY - Formerly of Newburgh, NY passed away suddenly in June of, 2018, after a brief illness. He was born in Newburgh, NY, on April 8, 1964, and was the sixth child and youngest son of Andrew N. Congelosi and Barbara M. (nee Godfrey) Congelosi. He graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1982, and briefly attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. A resident of New York City for 33 years, he was living in Greenwich Village at the time of his death. He worked at various jobs over his lifetime, but computers were a lifelong interest. He was a fan of "Star Trek" and "Star Wars," as well as Carol Burnett and the TV show "Absolutely Fabulous" and could quote extensively from them all. He was pre-deceased by his parents and a sister, Joyce. He is survived by his siblings: Cathy, Barbara, Joseph, Andrew, and Lisa; by his nephews, Joseph and Peter; and by his nieces, Dana and Maria. There will be no calling hours and the burial will be private.
